Contains new information on water management with drip irrigation; seed priming and seed germination tests; plant tissue testing; petiole sap testing; windbreaks; and weed management. Indespensible for Market Farmers, March 10, 2008 Reviewer: Red from MO Having grown up to 5 acres of vegetables a year for sale I can tell you that the information in this book is invaluable. From setting out the germination time of seeds at various temperatures, to helping diagnose disease and pest problems and detailing the best storage temperatures for most successful long term storage Knott's has been THE source for growers information for as long as I can remember. If your livelihood depends on vegetable production this book is indispensable.
This has always been an expensive book but this edition is $25.00 less than the last one.
