ABOUT OUR STATION...

We feature TRADITIONAL country music from the 1930's through the present. TRADITIONAL means lots of steel guitar, dobro and fiddles, with hints of bluegrass thrown in.

We also will feature blocks of bluegrass, bluegrass & southern gospel and western Music as well. We have spent over 5 months scouring the web and personal collections to come up with some of the finest performances ever! We will be talking about the music and the performers and if the music is still available you'll be able to purchase it through links next to the playlist.

In addition there will be archives available to our Premium Members so that you can listen to YOUR favorite type of music on demand. We have posted our 24 hour schedule in this section under "What's Playing" and it will also be posted on the KWBC.FM website.

We broadcast 24 hours a day and will broadcast specifically for time zones around the world. We plan interviews with artists in Branson and our own studios and even having them co-DJ some shows. In addition we plan on presenting remote broadcasts from music festivals and events.

KWBC is a non-commercial similar to NPR but with some optional upgrades and members only features, with a low-key pledge drive planned each quarter. You are welcome to listen free but many additional features will be available to members. There will be several membership levels with special free gifts. All levels will receive ALL of the benefits of membership. We don't want you spend more than you feel comfortable with, so all levels of support are welcome. We will also be offering hourly sponsorships with an announcement at the top and bottom of each hour for businesses and "Day Sponsors" if you want to honor someone special. More information will be posted as we become more organized. For now, ALL features are free, so enjoy!

KWBC is expanding our play list and schedule each day. Within a month we should have some concerts and genre archives set up. Meantime here is our present schedule:

• Chronicles of the Old West: Presented at 8am USA CST, 5pm, 2am.
  Description: Monday through Friday you can hear all about the people and places of the Old West. From the infamous Wild Bill Hickok and Judge Roy Bean, to the outlaws they pursued, and the cattlemen and settlers who carved out a home in the Western Frontier.
• Traditional Country, Way-Back Country, Bluegrass, Western, New Artists Mix: 24 hours per day except:

  • Bluegrass & Southern Gospel mix: 6 a.m. - 8 a.m. US Central Time Sunday Mornings
  
  
  • BJ's Morning Show (Traditional Country, Bluegrass, western, new artists, gospel) : 10 a.m. - noon US CST Monday - Fridays
  
  
  • The Old Buzzard (New Traditional Country & Bluegrass Bands, way back country, country comedy, 60-70's country-rock crossovers, and backwoods commentary) 8 - 9 p.m. US Central time Monday - Friday
